Do you have a secret profession?

Do you have a secret profession? What is a secret profession anyway? A secret profession is something you've always dreamed of doing, but you didn't really know how to do it. It is something that's inside of you that's maybe been with you since your childhood, but you never got on that path.

Who has a secret profession? Pretty much almost everybody. I read a recent study that said ~87% of people in the world are not happy with their job and would rather be doing something else. You could be a professional in a corporate environment, you could just be working a day job somewhere, or you could actually own your own small business, and you're not even happy with that! At least you have your small business freedom, and maybe you don't because you're working too hard.

Why would you want to pursue your secret profession? Well, you'd want to pursue your secret profession for the dreams that it would fulfill inside of you, for the lifestyle that it would give you, for the ability to express your gifts and your talents to the world that you're really here to do anyway, and at the end of the day, for you, it's all about contribution.

I wanted to use this blog today to let everybody know that I'm planning on doing an online course along with some group coaching in September through December this year, followed up by a live workshop in January (the last weekend in January, the 24th, 25th, 26th) in Austin, Texas. I started my own consulting business almost two years ago now, and I've learned so much over the last year and three-quarters that I want to share some of the stuff that I've been learning with everybody about:

1. How to go out and build a business around your true purpose
2. What you're really here for
3. How you can contribute to the world.

What are we going to cover? We're going to cover things like:

1. Discovering your true purpose. Maybe you don't even know what it is right now, or maybe you don't even know what your secret profession is, and discovering that through your own life story. You see, I believe your true purpose, your gifts, your talents have been there all along. You just haven't been aware of them or maybe awake to them. We're going to go through a process to wake you up to what it is that you're here for in this lifetime on this planet.
2. We're going to spend some time on your vision and goals for your life. There's probably things that you want to accomplish, but you don't really know how yet. We're going to focus on that. Why? Because we're going to make next year your best year ever.
3. We're going to focus on who's your ideal customer for your secret profession and what is your message for this ideal customer. What does that avatar of your perfect customer look like, and how do you speak to them?
4. We're going to talk about how you package your gifts and talents in a way that allows you to maximize your income while making it a win-win for your ideal client so you can have more time and more freedom instead of being tied to the clock that most of us are in our jobs and our professions.
5. Finally, we're going to talk about how do you then go out and market to that ideal customer and then enroll them in your vision for them and for the future?
